Recruitment Announcement for Part-Time Master's-Level Research Assistant on NSTC Projects
1. Applicant Qualifications
(1) Must be a currently enrolled Master's student at this university (National Taiwan Ocean University, NTOU) in one of the following departments/programs: Institute of Marine Affairs and Law, Master’s Program in Marine Policy, Department of Merchant Marine, Department of Shipping and Transportation Management, or Department of Transportation Science; or a currently enrolled Master's student at NTOU who holds an undergraduate law degree from a domestic or foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan.
(2) Must possess a strong interest and willingness to learn about marine law and policy.
(3) Must possess excellent logical thinking, fluent writing skills, and the ability to read journal articles and court judgments in both Chinese and English.
2. Job Responsibilities
(1) Administrative and documentation processing.
(2) Drafting of research reports. (3) Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
3. Compensation and Benefits
(1) Salary will be determined according to the "National Taiwan Ocean University Standards for Research Project Part-Time Research Assistant Stipends/Remuneration." Based on capability and experience, the monthly salary is NT$8,000 – 10,000 for 40 working hours per month.
(2) The position is managed according to the "National Taiwan Ocean University Guidelines for the Management of Research Project Contracted Personnel" and related regulations.
